GB Foods Corp.: The Anaheim company, which operates and franchises Green Burrito Mexican restaurants, reported net income of $253,000, or 3 cents a share, for the first quarter, up from the $99,000, or 1 cent a share, for the first quarter of 1997. The company attributed the profit gain to continued expansion of its dual-concept restaurants. Revenue increased 8% to $1.3 million from $1.2 million.
