BAX Global Inc. in Irvine said it has completed its acquisition of privately held Air Transport International LLC.
In February, BAX Global reported that it agreed to buy Air Transport for less than $30 million, but no updated financial terms were disclosed.
Air Transport, based in Little Rock, Ark., operates freight and passenger aircraft, including a certified fleet of DC-8 jets that provides service to air freight giant BAX Global and other customers.
U.S. military charters brought in 50% of Air Transport’s 1997 revenue. The company employs 470 workers globally, including 270 flight crew members.
