Fluor Unit Receives $265-Million Contract

Fluor Corp.’s engineering and construction unit said it received a $265-million contract to renovate and expand several Warner-Lambert Co. pharmaceutical facilities in Ireland.
The Fluor Daniel unit, based in Irvine, was hired to help the drug maker improve facilities to meet increasing demand. The project, which is already under construction, is scheduled to be completed by June 1999.
Fluor Daniel is also working on manufacturing projects for Warner-Lambert in Brazil, Puerto Rico and Lititz, Pa. Warner-Lambert manufactures and markets pharmaceutical, consumer health care and confectionery products.
Fluor Daniel provides engineering, construction and maintenance services.
