Michael Crawford Concerts Rescheduled

Some early editions of today’s Calendar Weekend carry a story about “Phantom of the Opera” star Michael Crawford and his scheduled appearance Friday at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. Due to illness, Crawford has postponed his concert tour, according to his publicist.
The Irvine Meadows date has been rescheduled to Aug. 6, and his Sunday performance at the Hollywood Bowl has been moved to Aug. 9. Tickets for the originally scheduled events will be honored on the new dates.
