Rogers Enters Not Guilty Plea to Murder Charge
- Share via
Alleged serial killer Glen Rogers pleaded not guilty Thursday to a charge of murdering a woman at a Van Nuys apartment in 1995.
Rogers, wearing a blue jail jumpsuit and bound by chains, appeared relaxed as he entered his plea in Los Angeles Superior Court. He was recently extradited from Florida, where he was in prison awaiting execution on a murder conviction.
Authorities here allege that Rogers killed Sandra Gallagher and set her body on fire. He is scheduled to return to court next month for a pretrial hearing.
Rogers also is suspected in killings in Mississippi and Louisiana.
