The Highlanders (10-0) won the Northwest Valley Conference title when David Doetzel batted away a pass to preserve the overtime victory.

Venice 40, Los Angeles 20

J.P. Losman completed 15 of 32 passes for 338 yards and five touchdowns as the Gondoliers (10-0) completed a perfect regular season.

Locke 20, South Gate 6

Michael Harmon gained 167 yards in 16 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Saints (7-3), who clinched the Southeastern Conference title.

Bell 35, Fremont 12

Ramon Ochoa scored five touchdowns and intercepted two passes for the Eagles (5-5) in a Southeastern Conference game at Bell.

Jefferson 16, Jordan 13

Jashawn Brown caught a 10-yard touchdown pass, had a 97-yard interception return and blocked an extra-point attempt for the Democrats (7-3).

Palisades 27, Hamilton 12

Carlos Flores completed 10 of 16 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown to to lead the Dolphins (7-3) in a Coastal Conference game.

SOUTHERN SECTION

Long Beach Poly 53, Long Beach Wilson 6

Larry Croom gained 195 yards in 14 carries and scored three touchdowns as the Jackrabbits (10-0) extended their win streak to 24 games.

Mater Dei 38, Trabuco Hills 21

Kelvin Milhouse caught 10 passes for 222 yards and scored three touchdowns as the Monarchs won their seventh consecutive league title.

Esperanza 19, Fountain Valley 17

Nike Fikse kicked a 31-yard field goal with no time left, after Fountain Valley kicker Aaron Carter had given his team the lead with 25 seconds to play.

Arcadia 15, Crescenta Valley 13

Quincy Williams’ one-yard dive for a touchdown with 6:13 left gave the Apaches their first outright Pacific League championship since 1989.

Hawthorne 45, Beverly Hills 19

Adimchinobe Echamandu gained 148 yards in 17 carries and scored three touchdowns as Hawthorne (8-2) won the Bay League title.

Bell Gardens 34, Schurr 7

Sal Perez gained 109 yards and Moises Caro scored on a 60-yard punt return as the Lancers (9-1) wrapped up the Almont League title.

Cathedral 58, Murphy 34

Robert De La Cruz passed for 353 yards and eight touchdowns for the Phantoms (9-1) in the Santa Fe League game.
