* Dee Dee Hodge and Sally Rumbley Woodin have joined the Bank of Ventura as mortgage loan officers after the bank expanded its lending department due to a high volume of loan requests.
Hodge has been a mortgage loan officer for six years, while Woodin has been working in that capacity for 12 years.
* The Bank of Ventura has recognized Linda Faris as the top employee for the third quarter. A 28-year veteran of the residential mortgage brokerage industry, Faris is the senior loan processor for the bank’s mortgage department.
The Bank of Ventura has funded more than $23 million in mortgages this year.
* Sam Ramirez Soto has been awarded the 15-Year Outstanding Achievement Award by Blue Max Technology in Newbury Park.
Soto, the company’s production manager, joined the firm in 1983 in the shipping department and since then has been involved in nearly every aspect of the company’s service, technical support and manufacturing operations.
Blue Max Technology makes servers for Internet service providers.
