Lindros Hurt in Flyer Win

John LeClair scored at 13:53 of the third period as the Philadelphia Flyers, who lost captain Eric Lindros because of a groin injury, beat the Detroit Red Wings, 3-2, in an exhibition game at Philadelphia. Lindros’ injury is called mild and is expected to be ready for Friday’s opener against the New York Rangers.
