7 TONIGHT VALENCIA HIGH
With three backs each gaining more than 6 1/2yards per carry and quarterback Adam Iloilo as its best player, Bloomington is averaging 36 1/2 points against some solid opponents. Bloomington’s only loss, 35-26, came against Fountain Valley, which burned the Bruins’ secondary for five passing touchdowns, including ones of 75 and 55 yards. Esperanza’s Grant Wagner could have a similar game with receivers Aaron Hill (16 receptions), Kris Hall (11 receptions, 21.6 yards per catch) and Bo Ashabraner (14 receptions). Basically, Esperanza must stop the run, and Bloomington must stop the pass.
