Moorpark 42, L.A. Harbor 24--Emory Holmes rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns in 11 carries to lead the Raiders (4-1, 2-0) to a WSC Southern Division victory at Moorpark.
Holmes scored on runs of 51, 10 and 10 yards. He gave the Raiders a 20-17 lead, which they didn’t relinquish, on a 51-yard run early in a 28-point fourth quarter.
Russel Berwell gave the Raiders a 28-17 lead on a 75-yard punt return. Berwell halted L.A. Harbor’s next drive when he intercepted a pass.
Moorpark’s Carl Richardson had 121 yards and a touchdown in 20 carries. His two-yard run midway through the third quarter gave the Raiders a 14-10 lead.
