Candidates to Discuss College District Issues
- Share via
A public forum for candidates seeking seats on the board of the South Orange County Community College District is set for today at Irvine Valley College.
The college, operated by the district, has been at the center of an ongoing controversy about faculty-administration relations. Adding to the tension on campus, anti-Semitic e-mail was sent last week to 400 employees at the college.
The college district oversees Irvine Valley and Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
Today’s forum is being sponsored by Irvine Valley’s student newspaper, the Voice. The free event will begin at 7 p.m. in the student center.
