Candidates for San Clemente Seats Gather Tonight for Forum
- Share via
With 15 people running for three San Clemente council seats and no incumbents in the race, the Rotary Club-sponsored candidates’ forum tonight is especially significant, organizers said.
“This is an extremely important election with three out of the five seats open, and we want the community to be able to hear from the candidates,” said Bill Kilty, San Clemente Rotarian.
All 15 candidates have been invited to the meeting by the San Clemente Rotary Club and the San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club. The clubs do not endorse candidates.
The forum will be moderated by Donald Clinebell, a former president of the Sunrise Rotary. It will take place at 7 p.m. at Clarence Lobo Elementary School at 200 Avenida Vista Montana.
