Moseley-Braun Trailing GOP Rival in Senate Bid

CHICAGO — Democratic Sen. Carol Moseley-Braun trails Republican Peter Fitzgerald in her bid for a second term, a poll shows.
Published Sunday in the Chicago Sun-Times, the poll found that 50% of 400 likely voters said they would vote for Fitzgerald; 35% said they would vote for Moseley-Braun; and 13% said they were undecided or refused to say how they would vote.
Conducted Tuesday through Thursday, the poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.8 percentage points.
