Titans Defeat Northridge in Overtime

Alessio Smith scored two minutes into overtime to give Cal State Fullerton a 5-4 victory over visiting Cal State Northridge in nonconference men’s soccer Sunday.
Duncan Oughton, on an assist from Art Ramirez, tied the score, 4-4, for Cal State Fullerton (3-1-1) in the 89th minute.
Ramirez also scored the game’s first goal.
In the La Quinta/Nike UCI women’s soccer Invitational:
UC Irvine 1, Air Force 0--Stephanie Rigamat scored off of teammate Nicole Bucciarelli’s rebound shot off the goal post in the 88th minute. The Anteaters, who are 5-0, won the tournament.
In nonconference women’s soccer:
Cal State Fullerton 2, Washington State 1--Dolores Browning scored on a free kick from 30 yards out in the final minute of regulation to break a 1-1 tie for Fullerton. Amy Barnes, on an assist by Val McAfee, scored the other goal for the Titans (3-3).
