Mom Shoots Triplet Sons, Self; 1 Survives

After unsuccessfully trying to buy rat poison to kill herself and her 2-year-old triplets, Miguellina Estevez, 19, shot each of her sons in the head with a semiautomatic pistol and then turned the gun on herself, police said. Her body was found in the second-floor bedroom of her Philadelphia row house, with two of her sons dead nearby. The third boy was declared brain dead and was on life support. Estevez came to the U.S. three years ago from the Dominican Republic with her boyfriend. She had been depressed recently, after the boyfriend returned to the Dominican Republic to marry another woman, friends said.
