Yigal Kerszenbaum
Irvine Valley, Freshman
Soccer
Kerszenbaum, from Woodbridge High, wasn’t a starter and didn’t play in the Lasers’ first game. But he has finally worked his way into the lineup, thanks to his ability to score. He scored five goals in three games last week, including the only one in a 1-0 victory over East Los Angeles, and has eight this season.
Football
James Zurn
* Fullerton, freshman. Kicked four field goals and two extra points in a 43-24 victory over OCC.
Soccer
Kristen Rowe
Fullerton, Sophomore
Rowe, from Santa Margarita High, started her college career with a three-goal game last season and hasn’t slowed down much since. She led the team with 16 goals last season and had five assists. She scored two goals in each of Fullerton’s three games last week as the Hornets went 2-1. Rowe has eight goals this season.
Soccer
Jane Specht
* Cypress, freshman. She scored six goals and got three assists as the Chargers won four times.
