Lasers Win 10th Straight in Soccer

Devin Adams scored two goals, leading Irvine Valley to a 4-0 victory over Cypress in Orange Empire Conference men’s soccer Friday. The Lasers have won 10 in a row.

Adams scored his third and fourth goals of the season in the 32nd and 45th minute of the conference opener. Chris Whitworth and Otto Rodriguez also scored for Irvine Valley (10-1, 1-0). Cypress drops to 2-6, 1-0.

In other conference games:

Fullerton 3, Golden West 0--Keith Vermeeren, Ryan Graham and Brian Treat each scored a goal for Fullerton (3-4-3, 1-0). Mike Clines had seven saves for the Hornets.

Orange Coast 3, Riverside 0--Josh Miller, Juan Escobar and Jose Quintana scored for visiting Orange Coast (5-3-3, 1-0). Shosi Murase made two saves for his second shutout of the season. Riverside (3-5-1, 0-1) had six shots on goal.
