Nice to see you discovered wine in Colorado (“Rocky Mountain High,” Aug. 16). We did back in 1992. Things have changed there since then. The nicest addition is the Rocky Mountain Meadery and Cidery in Palisade, run by a former judge (mentioned in the article). Fantastic things they brew there.
Grand Junction has really gotten into local history and it’s changed quite a bit. One of the neatest additions is the Dinosaur Valley Museum in Fruita, about five miles west.
