Crystal Cove Plan Not Acceptable
* What is happening to Crystal Cove State Park? What idiot(s) decided to lease a good chunk of this beautiful coastal state park and historic district to a resort developer? I know the state park system is in dire need of funds, but giving away park property is not an acceptable solution.
Although Crystal Cove encompasses a mere sliver of coastal habitat between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, it’s the only large piece of undeveloped coastal property left around here and every bit of it is precious.
Of all the places in California in need of undeveloped coastal space, with open access, this would certainly head the list.
