The Homeless Intervention Shelter received more than $10,000 in donations and expects to get a check for an already-approved $31,000 county grant. The Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation, affiliated with the Anaheim Angels, sent a $10,000 check last week to the nonprofit HIS House, said Gilbert Gonzales, director of the shelter. The money will be used to buy more beds for the house and to keep the computer lab running.
