Construction Due in Lake Forest

Construction will start soon on a new commercial project in Lake Forest on one of the last large land parcels remaining in south Orange County.
The 77-acre corporate campus and business park, A.J. West Ranch, created by Turner Development Corp., will feature low- and mid-rise office buildings. The project, scheduled to open next year, is along the Foothill Transportation Corridor, adjacent to Foothill Ranch Towne Centre, and is typical of the business developments that have transformed South County into a high-tech hub.
Low-rise office parks dominate the region. More than 6 million square feet of office space exists, with another 4.3 million square feet planned or under construction.
It is the third most active region behind the John Wayne Airport area and central county, according to Grubb & Ellis Inc.
