Vertel Reports Net Loss of $1.8 Million for Quarter

Vertel Corp., Woodland Hills, reported a net loss of $1.8 million for the quarter ended June 30, compared with a loss of $172,000 for the like quarter last year.
Revenues for the company, which makes and distributes telecommunications networking software, were $5.6 million, up 12% from $5 million in the second quarter last year.
