The Block, Orange County’s largest entertainment complex, was named Business Recycler of the Year by the City Council and Waste Management of Orange in their first annual recycling award to a business. According to Director of Public Works Harry Thomas, the Block recycled the highest volume in the city and “exemplified waste management reduction.” Officials at the Block said they recycle more than 34 tons of cardboard each month.
