A fire in a wall between two rooms at a convalescent care facility early Tuesday caused no injuries but did result in about $20,000 in damage. Firefighters were called to the scene on Florida Avenue about 6:30 a.m. after a worker discovered smoke in two rooms. About 215 residents were evacuated. Firefighters chopped down the wall, and the fire was extinguished by 8:15 a.m. Fire Department spokesman Ed Hadfield said the cause was an electrical problem.
