The City Council recently appointed council members Wayne Peterson and Toni Iseman to a joint City-Laguna Beach Water District Committee. On Nov. 1, 2000, the city will assume responsibility for the water district and ownership of the Top of the World reservoir. The committee was created to resolve transfer issues between the city and the water district.
