Rory Kennedy Married in Greece

ATHENS — Rory Kennedy was married in a private ceremony in Greece 2 1/2 weeks after the deaths of her cousin John F. Kennedy Jr., his wife and her sister postponed the wedding.
Rory Kennedy married Mark Bailey late Monday at the family compound of shipowner Vardis Vardinoyiannis in the exclusive northern Athens suburb of Ekali, “in a close family circle,” Vardinoyiannis’ office said Tuesday.
TV footage showed distant images of a blond woman in a white wedding gown boarding a yacht, reportedly a Vardinoyiannis family motor cruiser, at 2 a.m. in Greece after getting out of a dark limousine.
JFK Jr., his wife Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and her sister Lauren Bessette were killed July 16 when their plane crashed en route to Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod for Rory Kennedy’s wedding.
