GET OUT! : Klugh Plays in Newport

Grammy-winning jazz-pop guitarist Earl Klugh, in Newport Beach tonight, recently left his longtime home at Warner Bros. Records for Windham Hill, which has just released his latest, “Peculiar Situation.” What’s peculiar about it? “I was simply trying to record a solid pop album,” Klugh says. “I didn’t want to take any strange detours from my regular style of writing.”
