Burgess to Step Down at PharmaPrint

Robert J. Burgess, president and chief operating officer of Irvine-based PharmaPrint Inc., announced this week that he will resign from the company for personal reasons.
PharmaPrint develops, manufactures and markets pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements derived from natural plant extracts and is the exclusive manufacturer for American Home Products’ line of Centrum Herbals.
The company said it is searching for a successor for Burgess, who joined the company in 1996 as executive vice president. He became president and chief operating officer a year later.
