The Laguna Beach Arts Commission is accepting designs for the Council Chamber banner competition. Entries must be drawn to scale, 3 3/4 inches by 12 inches. Entries should not be signed. Community celebration themes are suggested and religious themes should be avoided.
The competition is open to Laguna Beach residents, with a maximum of two designs per contestant. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Sept. 10 at the City Hall Recreation Department. Applications: (949) 497-0722.
