Re “Latino Groups Urge Boycott of Network TV,” July 28: Thanks to Raul Yzaguirre and his group [La Raza] for their insightful and long overdue demand for a federal study of “media imagery’s impact on Latinos’ self-esteem.” In a flash I realized the genesis of all my problems. They began when “Fantasy Island” went off the air. Where have you gone, Ricardo Montalban?
