Oakwood Buys Luxury Units in Thousand Oaks

Oakwood Corporate Housing said it has acquired a luxury apartment complex in Thousand Oaks for $18.4 million as part of a plan to renovate and expand its 2,500 apartment units in the Los Angeles area.
The Los Angeles-based firm acquired the 154-unit Oakcrest apartment complex from limited partnership Lincoln/Shinhwa III.
Oakwood also has sold its 446-unit Woodland Hills West complex on Victory Boulevard for an undisclosed price, but will keep and renovate an adjacent 883-unit complex.
