A look back at this week in Angel history:
Aug. 11, 1968: Tom Satriano became the second player in club history to get five hits in five at-bats, accomplishing the feat at Baltimore. A catcher, Satriano played 10 seasons with the Angels and Red Sox.
Aug. 12, 1974: Right-hander Nolan Ryan set an AL record for strikeouts in a nine-inning game, fanning 19 Red Sox.
Aug. 14, 1990: Outfielder Luis Polonia hit an inside-the-park grand slam against the Yankees. Earlier in the year, Polonia had been traded by the Yankees to the Angels.
