City workers are investigating a rental property, the scene of a fatal stabbing June 26, for multiple code violations.
The three-bedroom house has been owned since 1970 by longtime Conejo Valley Unified School District board member Dolores Didio and her husband, Vincent C. Didio, a Thousand Oaks physician.
Antonio Gonzales, 45, was found dead on the sidewalk outside the Didios’ property, which at the time was home to 15 people--nine adults and six children.
Geoff Ware, Thousand Oaks city code enforcement supervisor, said Tuesday the code violation investigation at the now-vacant house in the 800 block of Avenida de los Arboles was sparked by numerous complaints filed shortly after the stabbing.
