The Planning Commission confirmed that an addition of county-owned land to La Paz Park conforms with the city’s General Plan. The approval was the last formal step needed in acquiring the land, which will increase the size of the park to about six acres, said Daniel Fox, the city’s planning manager. The park is on La Paz Road, north of county-owned Laguna Niguel Regional Park.
