NOTA Initiative

Your silly “ ‘None’ Vote Nonsense” editorial (Aug. 10) shows a lack of understanding of what the None of the Above (NOTA) ballot initiative is all about. It is also a slam against the more than 655,000 registered California voters who signed the initiative petition.
It is my hope that the initiative, when passed, will someday result in no candidate votes for NOTA when we have: more registered voters; more voters; more qualified candidates; less negative campaigning.
