Two women and a man were injured in a drive-by shooting on West La Habra Boulevard in La Habra shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday, police said.
Sonia Flores, 25, of Anaheim was shot in the lower back and a 16-year-old girl from Placentia was wounded in the neck, police said. The teenager is not being identified because of her age.
Flores and the younger woman were admitted to UCI Medical Center in Orange, and hospital officials said both were in fair condition Sunday night.
Robert Rubio, 20, of Buena Park suffered lacerations from flying broken glass. He was admitted to the emergency room at Brea Community Hospital and released Sunday, officials said.
The shooting occurred while several people at a social gathering were standing in the frontyard of a home on West La Habra, according to La Habra Police Lt. Jerry Cline.
Police said they believe the shooting was gang related, and their gang unit is investigating the case. There were no suspects as of Sunday night, he said.
Police ask that anyone with information about the incident contact Cpl. Jeff Swaim at (714) 905-9750.
