Food, Music, Fashion at Orangewood Benefit

Hundreds of guests jammed the parking area near Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza on Saturday night to attend Countdown to 2000, a benefit for the Orangewood Children’s Foundation. Orangewood Pals and their guests sipped cocktails, sampled lobster won ton and tuna tartare and boogied to the Grooveline and M-80s. When the clock struck 10, party-goers watched a Nordstrom fall fashion preview.
Proceeds of $60,000 will go toward the renovation of a game area at the Orangewood Children’s Home for abused and abandoned children. Grant and Stephanie King chaired the event.
