Image Entertainment Posts Net Loss for 1st Quarter

Image Entertainment Inc. reported a net loss of $714,000 for the first quarter ended June 30, compared with earnings of $205,000 for the same period the previous year. Revenues were $18 million compared with $17.1 million.
The company attributed the loss to problems associated with the new Las Vegas distribution facility.
