The city will try to get $804,217 from the Orange County Transportation Authority to help finance three improvement projects in the Gateway area.
The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to submit a grant application for a share of the authority’s Transportation Enhancement Activities Program money.
Under the program, money is available to local agencies for use in transportation-related projects that enhance the area’s quality of life. To get the money, the city must commit to matching 25% of the funds for each project, according to city staff reports.
