A national bipartisan organization advocating the regulation of campaign donations announced Tuesday it will open a local branch.
Edward Handman, founder of the Laguna Woods Common Cause chapter, said the group will keep an eye on fund-raising for city, county, state and national offices.
Handman--who moved to Leisure World last month from New York, where he was on the state Common Cause board--said the Laguna Woods chapter will focus on the Laguna Woods City Council.
