The City Council is about to award a contract for the replacement of the waterline curb and gutter at the pier. The Public Works Department received bids for the project Wednesday morning and the council will make its decision at the next council meeting Aug. 23.
The meeting also will feature a public hearing on various ordinances for the Bixby project, and it has been rescheduled to 5 p.m. at City Hall, 211 8th St.
