A 26-year-old Downey man was shot and killed in a residential neighborhood in Westminster, police said Wednesday.
Chhay Kea Gauv had been shot twice in the head when officers found him in the street near the intersection of Plumwood Street and Cordaway Avenue shortly after midnight Tuesday.
Police do not believe the shooting is gang-related, but they have no witnesses and the case is still being investigated, Sgt. Jack Davidson said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Davidson at (714) 898-3315, Ext. 397.
