Ramps to Be Closed During Construction

A two-year construction project to build new bridges and freeway ramps on the Ventura Freeway at Seaward Avenue begins this week.
The southbound onramp at Seaward Avenue and Harbor Boulevard will be closed for one year starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday, while the first half of a new Seaward Avenue bridge is constructed. Traffic will be detoured to an onramp at Monmouth Way.
The northbound onramp and offramp at Seaward Avenue and Harbor Boulevard will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday) through Saturday.
All lanes of the freeway will be kept open during construction.
