Ideal Scottish Spot
Thank you for Patricia Lee Lewis’ beautiful article about Iona in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides (“Land of Mystical Faith,” Aug. 8), which reminded us of our own happy visit to Iona in April 1998.
Instead of lodging on Iona, we were among the day-trippers who took the ferry over from the island of Mull, where we spent three nights in Tobermory. Although less otherworldly than Iona, Tobermory, with its charming and brightly painted harbor front, is a delightful spot in its own right.
