The Anaheim Achieves program was launched Saturday night at the Anaheim Hilton. The $2-million program, administrated by Anaheim Family YMCA, will provide after-school programs--academic and recreational--for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. With a staff of 150, the programs will take place on 16 school sites in the Anaheim City School District and the Magnolia School District and serve about 2,000 children daily. The school districts will track academic performance. Information: (714) 635-9622.
