The City Council postponed addressing parking and noise complaints in connection with Cottonwood Christian Center to its next meeting Sept. 13. Residents demand change, citing parking shortages and noise relating to activities at the popular center. The church has tried to respond to those complaints. For example, workers now use high-tech headsets to communicate with one another instead of noisier walkie-talkies, and try to immediately flag churchgoers when the parking lot is full, so motorists do not cause traffic jams while they look for parking.
