*** The Beatnuts, “A Musical Massacre,” Loud. Think of rappers-producers Psycho Les and Juju as chain-smoking, rowdy frat boys with extremely violent tendencies. On the Queens duo’s third splendid album, they continue reciting humorous escapades and no-nonsense braggadocio. Their riveting, self-produced beats are among the genre’s most captivating--and overlooked. A few commercially slanted songs add balance to the mayhem.
