The city started pumping new life and water into its traffic medians this week. The city’s landscape contractor began to replace broken sprinkler heads and piping in the medians, especially along Moulton Parkway, said Leslie Keane, city manager.
Spectrum Care, the city’s landscaper, also will upgrade the devices that provide power to the medians’ sprinkler systems, Keane said.
She said the project will take several months. The city budgeted nearly $50,000 for the work.
