The Capistrano Pageant debuts this Saturday and Sunday at the Oaks Blenheim Outdoor Showpark. The daylong event begins at noon with a free living history expo, where more than 100 actors will re-create scenes from daily life around Mission San Juan Capistrano during its formative years. An original musical, “Capistrano,” caps the evening at 8 p.m.
Admission to the musical is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $14 for children and also includes entrance to the mission. The Showpark is at La Plata Road and Ortega Highway. Information: (949) 493-4700.
