Longtime Councilman Gene Wisner might be resigning, but he’s not letting go.
“Of course I’m coming back to visit. You can’t get rid of me that easily,” Wisner said. “I couldn’t leave Yorba Linda for good I love this place.”
Wisner announced his resignation at a City Council meeting this month. His last day is Sept 7. The next day, he and his wife, Annette, will set off for Battle Creek, Mich. The couple will be back to visit their two children and four grandchildren who live in Yorba Linda.
